Detail-driven CAD Technician required for a role in South-Dublin – 5 days per week onsite
We’re working with an established engineering consultancy in South Dublin that’s looking to add a talented CAD Technician to their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who likes a busy, hands-on environment and wants to gain exposure to a variety of civil and structural projects.
Sample projects:
- Residential and mixed-use developments (roads, drainage, utilities, site layouts), Surface water management and attenuation systems
- Public realm and streetscape improvement works
- Sustainable drainage (SuDS) design and integration
- Reinforced concrete and steel frame buildings, Educational and healthcare facilities, Refurbishment and extension projects for existing structures, Low-rise commercial and residential developments
- Green infrastructure and sustainable site layouts
- Flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
- Infrastructure upgrades to support sustainable transport
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and updating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering projects
- Working closely with engineers to translate concepts into technical plans
- Ensuring drawings meet design standards and client specifications
- Assisting with project coordination and document control
What you’ll need:
- A relevant qualification in CAD, Engineering, or Design
- Professional/Port-grad experience using AutoCAD (Revit or Civil 3D experience is an advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Salary & Benefits:
