We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Services Co-Ordinator to join our team. As a Building Services Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the installation and maintenance of building services systems, ensuring they meet project requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the design, installation, and commissioning of building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop detailed project plans and specifications for building services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the proper implementation of building services systems, adherence to design plans, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage the procurement of materials and equipment required for building services installations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve technical challenges and provide technical guidance related to building services systems.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Building Services Co-Ordinator or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using building services design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Professional certifications or memberships in relevant industry associations are highly desirable.
