Declan Hasson
BIM Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience is required by a leading Irish main contractor with an outstanding portfolio of high-profile commercial, residential, healthcare, education, hospitality, and fit-out projects. The company is currently expanding its in-house Digital Construction team and is seeking to recruit at least two BIM Technicians to be based in Dublin, working on a number of large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments currently on site and in pre-construction. The role will involve producing coordinated BIM models, drawings, and construction information while collaborating closely with site teams, design consultants, and subcontractors in a fast-paced contractor environment.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Architectural Technology, BIM, Construction IT, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years’ hands-on experience using Revit in a design or construction environment
- Previous main-contractor or Tier 1 subcontractor experience is a distinct advantage
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction sequencing and buildability
- Full proficiency in Revit (Architecture, Structure & MEP coordination experience highly desirable)
- Experience with Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is beneficial
- Solid working knowledge of current Irish Building Regulations and BCAR requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
