BIM Engineer

BIM Engineer required for one of Ireland’s largest engineering contractors to work at their head office in North-West Dublin. Reporting into the BIM Manager the successful BIM Engineer must be experienced working on MEP Systems within large scale projects.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage BIM software, systems, standards, and object libraries
• Lead model QA, clash detection, coordination, and federated model control
• Produce key BIM outputs (drawings, COBie, isometrics, BOMs, schedules)
• Analyse model data to support planning, procurement, and optimisation
• Provide BIM/CAD support, training, and workflow documentation
• Coordinate with site teams and trades to ensure compliant delivery and QA/QC

Requirements 

• A relevant third level qualification in engineering / construction
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the construction industry
• Experience in the Data Centre Construction industry is highly advantageous
• Highly skilled in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and CAD Worx.
