Great opportunities for experienced Architectural Technologists / CAD Technicians with strong proficiency in CAD and good understanding of current building regualtions, to join a multidisciplinary consultancy office in the Midlands.
Their current project portfolio includes a range of medium, largescale and one-off residential developments including new builds, renovations and refurbishments. Due to the expansion of the business with an significant orderbook, they are growing the team further and have immediately opportunities for experienced Architectural Technologists to work alongside the team of Architects, Engineers, Project Managers and Surveyors.
The ideal Architectural Technologists will have in excess of 2 years’ experience preferable with some residential project experience, delivering project from initial concept stage through to completion on site.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Competently produce drawings for planning, tender and construction stages
- Preparing and developing tender drawings and specifications
- Preparing and developing construction drawings and detailing
- Work collaboratively with the in-house team, clients and on-site contractors
- Ensure project timescales are met and project delivered in accordance to clients specifications
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of architectural experience with a design studio or multidisciplinary office
- Strong technical skills with full understanding of current Technical Guidance Documents (essential)
- Must have a full Irish Driving Licence
- Full proficiency in AutoCAD and other computer packages for designing is required
- Previous experience working across all stages of project development
- Due to location, access to own transport is beneficial
- Must hold full eligibility to work in Ireland
