A well-established consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join their growing team in Dublin!
Excellent opportunity to work within a busy and collaborative environment, supporting the delivery of quality environmental and planning projects across Ireland. The successful candidate will gain strong exposure across a range of sectors, working closely with experienced consultants on technically interesting and meaningful projects.
Projects:
- Renewable energy developments including wind and solar
- Infrastructure and transport projects
- Industrial and commercial developments
- Residential and mixed-use schemes
- Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR) and planning support
- Noise monitoring, modelling and impact assessments across varied sites
Role:
- Carry out environmental noise monitoring and site surveys
- Analyse acoustic data and prepare detailed technical reports
- Assist in the preparation of noise and vibration impact assessments
- Support EIAR inputs and planning documentation
- Undertake acoustic modelling and predictive assessments
- Ensure compliance with relevant Irish and international standards
- Assist in the preparation of Noise Management Plans and mitigation strategies
Requirements:
- Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in environmental acoustics or noise consultancy
- Experience in noise monitoring, data analysis and reporting
- Understanding of Irish noise guidance and relevant standards
- Experience with acoustic modelling software is an advantage
Salary:
- €40,000 – €50,000 DOE
