A residential developer is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support the delivery of an apartment project in Cork City Centre. This is a site-based role offering strong exposure to large-scale urban residential developments, working closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accurate setting out and smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all setting out duties on residential apartment projects
- Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately on site
- Ensure all works are set out in accordance with design and quality standards
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and consultants
- Maintain accurate site records and as-built documentation
- Support QA checks and ensure compliance with project requirements
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 1–3+ years’ experience in a setting out / site engineering role
- Experience on residential or building projects preferred
- Competent with total station and surveying equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on site
Salary & Benefits
- €45,000 – €55,000 DOE
