My client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. The role involves working on multiple residential and commercial projects across Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Lead all aspects of Project Team functions.
- Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan, with specific reference to HSE & Quality plans.
- Prepare contract reports and, with the QS, provide updates at monthly cost meetings.
- Review buildability and identify construction methods that offer commercial or programme advantages.
- Plan, organise, and direct construction activities for structures, facilities, and systems.
- Develop project plans and schedules and execute them to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Coordinate project activities in line with company Quality Systems, Standard Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
- Meet objectives relating to timely delivery, cost, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure successful project delivery through leadership, management, and technical expertise across the full project lifecycle.
- Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Construction Management).
- Experience within a main contractor.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and project scheduling software.
- Good knowledge of safety and quality management systems.
