The Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems across a range of projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop energy-efficient solutions, produce technical designs, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and specification of HVAC, heating, and ventilation systems
- Supporting energy retrofit strategies for existing buildings
- Preparing technical drawings, calculations, and reports
- Assisting with project delivery from concept through to completion
- Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other disciplines
Requirements:
- 3–7 years’ experience in Mechanical Building Services Engineering
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Progression toward Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent is desirable
- Experience in commercial or healthcare projects is advantageous
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable design principles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
