My client, a leading residential developer, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their construction site team in South Dublin. This role will support the delivery of safe, compliant and well-managed residential projects, working closely with site management and the Health & Safety Manager.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the Health & Safety Management System on site
- Promote continuous improvement of health & safety standard
- Monitor site-specific hazards and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- Ensure site safety documentation and statutory records are maintained
- Enforce site rules and contractor compliance
- Support site management with H&S requirements
- Carry out risk assessments and audits
- Deliver toolbox talks
- Assist incident and accident investigations
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role with a main contractor
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
- IOSH membership preferred
- Strong knowledge of risk management and control measures
