A Senior Site Engineer is required for an established contractor to work on large-scale data center projects in Huntstown and Celbridge . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects. The successful candidate will have a solid background working with civils or groundworks contractors in Ireland or the UK and be confident managing technical and site operations.
Duties:
- Oversee setting out engineers and carry out accurate surveying work as a senior site engineer.
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with foremen, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, main contractor, and client.
- Plan and schedule construction works (daily, 1-week, 4-week, 12-week lookahead).
- Track men and resources on a day-to-day basis.
- Take off and order materials just-in-time.
- Prepare technical submittals and maintain site records.
- Attend site progress and safety meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on-site in groundworks and civil engineering, preferably with civils/groundworks contractors in Ireland or the UK.
- Hands-on experience managing teams and subcontractors.
- Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Full driving license.
Salary:
- Salary circa €70–80K
