A leading and well-established civil engineering contractor is currently seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor (3+ years’ experience) to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will involve working primarily on water and civil infrastructure projects across Dublin and Kildare, with a strong on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost control and commercial aspects of water and civil infrastructure projects
- Prepare and submit interim valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Assist in procurement of subcontractors and preparation of subcontract agreements
- Conduct site visits regularly to monitor progress and assess valuations
- Liaise with site teams, project managers, subcontractors, and clients
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in line with company procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Experience working on water, utilities, or civil infrastructure projects desirable
- Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration
- Ability to work both independently on-site and collaboratively within a wider project team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
