Mechanical Construction Manager – Portugal
We are hiring for a Mechanical Construction Manager to be based in Portugal on a large Pharmaceutical Project. You will lead on-site mechanical construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. The role coordinates site teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders while monitoring schedule, resources, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Promote and enforce company safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines on site.
- Monitor and drive delivery of the project construction schedule.
- Attend and contribute to site coordination meetings with the client.
- Plan and monitor labour and plant requirements with site supervisors.
- Supervise mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
- Report project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering mechanical construction projects.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar industrial sectors.
- Time-served fitter or mechanical engineering qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
Benefits
- Salary: €90,000 – €100,000 DOE
