Health & Safety Officer
A Health & Safety Officer is required for a leading main building contractor to work on commercial construction projects in Bray and Clondalkin. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality commercial developments across Dublin.
The successful candidate will support the site teams in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained while promoting a strong safety culture across multiple project sites.
Duties:
- Monitor health and safety compliance across commercial construction sites.
• Carry out regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company health and safety procedures.
• Review RAMS and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with safety standards.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders regarding safety matters.
• Maintain safety documentation and prepare reports where required.
• Assist in incident investigations and help implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
• Experience working on commercial or building projects is desirable.
• NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work across project sites in Bray and Clondalkin.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Full driving licence.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary circa €50k–60K depending on experience.
• Travel allowance / company vehicle.
