Regional EHS Manager
We are recruiting for a Regional EHS Manager to join a Tier 1 M&E contractor, this role will be based in Galway. In this role you will lead Environmental, Health and Safety operations across multiple large-scale projects and business units across Connacht.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor EHS teams to ensure consistent implementation of EHS standards.
- Ensure compliance with Safety Statements, risk assessments, and regulatory frameworks.
- As Regional EHS Manager you will act as escalation point for high-risk safety issues and provide expert guidance.
- Oversee EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
- Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring root causes and corrective actions.
- Drive proactive risk management and hazard identification across projects.
- Ensure contractor safety compliance and competency approvals.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma) desirable.
- Minimum 5+ years’ EHS management experience in construction, mechanical, or electrical sectors.
- This Regional EHS Manager will need strong knowledge of Irish, UK, and EU EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple sites.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
