Exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a well established civil and structural engineering & architectural consultancy in the north-east of Ireland.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for a variety of projects which may include mixed use developments, hotels, commercial, retail, industrial and residential developments. The successful Structural Engineer will lead a variety of challenging projects, whilst having a good work life balance and autonomy.
Projects:
- Projects range in values from €20m – €150m.
- Residential Projects
- Retail
- Offices
- Mixed use developments
- Numerous Deign & Build projects
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent
- 7 years+ experience as a structural engineer in Ireland or the UK
- Be proficient in the design of multi-storey buildings in various materials (steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, timber frame)
- Competency in software including TEDDS, Masterseries, PDS, Microdrainage/Flow, AutoCAD,/REVIT
- A good understanding of construction techniques, sequences of work, temporary works, Irish Building Regs and working under BCAR
- Organised approach to problem solving and a willingness to explore new opportunities
Salary:
- Salary €55K-€65K doe
