A leading construction company is seeking a motivated Junior Site Engineer to join their team on a large-scale commercial development in Limerick. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience on a major building project while working alongside experienced senior engineers and project managers.
This role will suit someone eager to develop their technical and site management skills within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day engineering and technical coordination of the commercial project
- Support senior engineers with setting out, surveying, and quality control
- Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site
- Assist in resolving technical issues as they arise
Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience in a site engineering role (commercial project experience desirable)
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and site procedures
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Valid SafePass/CSCS and knowledge of Irish building regulations
