About the Role
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will:
- Lead and oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Drive delivery standards across commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare projects
- Provide technical leadership with a strong mechanical design focus
- Mentor and develop senior engineers and project leads
- Support commercial performance, fee management and client relationships
- Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives
- Take increasing responsibility for operational leadership over time
This role offers genuine progression toward a senior executive position within the organisation.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) – Engineers Ireland or equivalent
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within an Irish engineering consultancy
- Strong mechanical design background (building services)
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams
- Proven delivery of projects across:
- Commercial
- Residential
- Industrial
- Healthcare
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and compliance standards
- Experience managing client relationships and project financial performance
Desirable:
- Previous experience at Associate / Director level
- Business development exposure
- Experience contributing to strategic growth initiatives

Remuneration
