Excellent opportunity in Dublin for an experienced Civil Engineer with design experience working on new and existing bridges.
Civil Engineer with 5+ years’ experience required to join one of Irelands leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies. This consultancy has worked with a wide range of public and private sector clients with a particular focus on Infrastructure & Transport, and Residential projects. The successful Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design, calculation, and analysis of new and existing Bridges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and analysis of new bridges.
- Assess existing bridge structures for maintenance and rehab.
- Use advanced engineering tools for analysis and modelling.
- Create engineering reports
- Mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
- Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8+ years’ experience working as a Structural / Civil Engineer in an Engineering Consultancy
- Irish or UK design experience would offer a distinct advantage
- Experience in the design of Bridges and Civil Infrastructure
- Experienced in calculations and analysis of bridges
- Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes
Salary:
- €55K – €70k (DOE) + Bonus + Pension
