A Tier 1 Building & Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking a Senior Engineer for a major new school development in South Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile project with strong career progression, development support, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards
- Implement project-specific quality control procedures
- Provide accurate setting-out information and ensure clear communication on site
- Interpret drawings for layouts, quantities, and construction sequencing
- Review and coordinate detailed design with design teams
- Manage subcontractors and general workforce to meet programme milestones
- Order and control materials to support project delivery
- Maintain site records, including meeting minutes and technical discussions
- Identify and eliminate rework through accurate, proactive engineering management
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years’ experience as a Site / Senior Engineer
- Background with a main contractor
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project
Package:
- €75,000 – €85,000 DOE
