Fire Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Attend on-site visits, client meetings and design team meetings.
- Assist in preparing Disability Access Certificate (DAC) applications for a range of developments.
- Prepare and submit Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) applications in line with current regulations.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and fire safety audits on-site.
- Carry out fire safety inspections across various building types.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure fire safety compliance.
- Prepare clear, detailed technical reports for clients, design teams and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the development of fire safety strategies for new and existing buildings.
- Stay up to date with changes in building regulations, fire codes and best practices.
Requirements:
- This Fire Engineer will need 2 – 3 years of relevant fire engineering experience.
- A strong interest in developing a long-term career in fire safety engineering.
- Familiarity with Irish building and fire safety regulations.
- Practical experience with FSC and DAC applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical report writing.
- A basic understanding of legal and compliance aspects of fire safety is an advantage.
