Intermediate Quantity Surveyor
We are actively looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of more than 4 years in the field to join a renowned construction company to work on a large building project in Galway. Our client is involved in multiple projects throughout Ireland and is committed to building a strong and lasting commercial team in the Galway region. This position is ideal for an Intermediate QS with a minimum of 4 years of experience, especially those with previous involvement in sizable building projects with main contractors.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree and possess a minimum of 4 years of Quantity Surveying experience within a primary construction company in either Ireland or the UK.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
- Display a keen sense of commercial and contractual awareness.
- Exhibit ambition and unwavering commitment to delivering work of exceptional quality.
Role:
- Cost Oversight: Evaluate, plan, and manage project expenditures to maintain alignment with the authorized financial plan.
- Contract Oversight: Manage construction contracts, handle alteration requests, and tackle contractual matters effectively.
- Document Management: Organize project documentation meticulously and compile comprehensive reports for relevant parties.
- Assessment and Appraisal: Gauge and appraise the work accomplished by contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and proactively manage potential financial risks associated with the project.
- Client Engagement: Cultivate favourable client connections and respond to their queries regarding project financial aspects.
Salary:
- Starting Salary: €60k– 70k
