Mechanical Estimator
We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Estimator to join a team in Dublin. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure. You will play a key part in producing competitive mechanical estimates for a variety of pre-design and design & build projects.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical estimates and tenders as part of a collaborative M&E team.
- Analyse tender drawings and specifications to complete accurate take offs.
- Assess sub-contractor quotations for compliance and suitability.
- Participate in pre and post tender interviews and advise managers on bid prospects.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and relevant market trends.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to the delivery of high-quality bids.
- Ensure alignment with tender specifications and project requirements throughout the estimation process.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar mechanical estimation role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and work packages.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with cost reconciliation and methods of measurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in the Data Centre industry is preferred but not essential.
