Health & Safety Manager – (Hybrid)
A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and implement health and safety strategies across multiple residential and commercial projects in Wexford. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and promoting best practices on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the company’s health & safety policies and site safety plans
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and site inspections
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all construction activities
- Lead incident investigations and follow up with corrective actions
- Deliver health and safety training programs to staff and subcontractors
- Track safety KPIs and report performance to senior leadership
- Provide on-site support and guidance to project and site teams
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior health & safety role within the construction sector
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety
- Strong working knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation
- Ability to lead, influence, and build strong relationships across teams
- Excellent reporting, training, and communication skills
