A highly regarded main contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee the day-to-day finishing works on a high-profile Dublin-based hotel project. This role requires a professional with a strong eye for detail, excellent subcontractor coordination skills, and the ability to deliver quality finishes to programme and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise finishing foreman on site.
- Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations.
- Ensure that all works are delivered in line with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Attend weekly management meetings and provide updates on site progress.
- Maintain a detailed site diary, recording labour levels and site activities.
- Compile labour allocation sheets for both direct and agency staff.
- Assist with the control and allocation of plant and equipment.
- Provide clear leadership and maintain a professional working environment on site.
- Monitor and uphold high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve any on-site issues promptly to avoid delays or rework.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a General or Finishing Foreman on large-scale projects.
- Proven background in delivering quality finishes in hotels, or other sectors such as residential, or commercial.
- Trade qualification or relevant construction-related qualification required.
- Strong track record of subcontractor supervision and coordination.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic IT skills to manage timesheets, requisitions, and documentation.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 (depending on experience)
