Design Manager required to work for one of Europe’s largest Tier 1 Main Contractors on a large Data Centre project in Dublin. The successful Design Manager will lead the design engineering team and coordinate design submissions will provide succinct solutions to the client’s needs.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the client’s design team, internal teams, and external consultants to ensure design alignment across the project.
- Lead design and engineering workshops to resolve issues and maintain alignment with construction progress.
- Manage technical submittals and design queries, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to project specifications.
- Oversee IFC drawing releases, change management, and coordination across all disciplines.
- Chair weekly design/engineering meetings and maintain a design risk register for senior management and client awareness.
- Coordinate contractor drawings, models, as-builts, and documentation to meet project timelines and handover requirements.
- Manage FFE and OFCI design and submittals, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client specifications.
- Oversee LEED compliance, temporary works, QA procedures, and liaise with relevant stakeholders to meet all project requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Construction / Engineering related field.
- 7 years+ experience in a similar role.
- Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
