Electrical Design Engineer
Our client are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer required to join the MEP team, based at head office in Dublin with travel to various project sites nationwide. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of high-profile projects across sectors including life sciences, pharmaceutical, industrial, commercial, and residential. Ideal role for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to grow within a collaborative and innovative contractor.
Requirements:

Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or trade background with relevant experience).

3+ years’ experience in a similar role designing and specifying electrical/building services systems.

Strong technical ability and knowledge of current engineering standards.

Previous main contractor experience preferred.

Experience with Revit/BIM and strong IT skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
Duties:
-
Design and specification of electrical engineering systems to current regulations and standards.

Collaborate with the MEP and design teams to define project requirements.

Support pre-construction activities, including coordination and production of technical documents.

Monitor project progress during construction including inspections, RFIs, and submittals.

Assist site teams to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Attend project meetings and liaise with stakeholders.

Support quality control and compliance with approved quality plans.
Package:

Competitive salary €60,000 – €70,000 (DOE)
