Electrical Supervisor (PICW)

Key Responsibilities/Duties
- Lead installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems for industrial, substation, and renewable projects (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Manage HV/MV equipment (switchgear, transformers, relays) assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Act as Person in Charge of Works (PICW) when required, overseeing safe work practices, permit-to-work systems, and site safety coordination.
- Supervise teams of electricians, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Mentor teams, promote innovation, and adopt sustainable practices.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to align on project goals and resolve issues.
- Oversee HV/MV cable jointing, termination, and testing.
- Review project documentation (reports, schedules, drawings).
Qualifications / Skills
- Qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer (Level 7/8 or equivalent).
- 7+ years’ experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory role in industrial, substation, or renewables.
- PICW experience or certification strongly preferred, with proven ability to manage safe systems of work.
- Expertise in HV/MV systems, safety standards, and renewable technologies.
- Strong team management and project delivery skills.
- Full driver’s license required.
- Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD, or SCADA systems a plus.
