Transport Engineer required to join a highly respected award winning civil and structural engineering consultancy in Dublin, Waterford or Cork. This company has a strong reputation as a professional consultancy who offer an integrated service within civil, structural and transportation engineering. Due to their ever increasing project folio and successful position on frameworks with local authorities, the NTA and TII they are seeking Transport Engineers and Planners to join their award winning Engineering Consultancy. You will work on a variety of traffic projects and general civil engineering works for a range of mixed use, commercial, and residential developments for Blue Chip Plc and Institutional clients across Ireland. Mentoring by their Leadership Team will be provided for both Pre and Post Chartered Candidates.

- Our client is one of the main consultants for Dublin Port, Dublin Airport and all the main local authorities around Ireland.
- Numerous Greenways; Road Improvement Schemes, Infrastructure projects in Cork.
- Various CBC projects.
- Various Water supply schemes.
- €100m and €150m Mixed Use developments – 18 storeys.
- €70m High Density Residential Development – 14 storeys.
- €80m High Density residential Development.
- €90m Mixed Use Development – 20 stories.
Requirements:
- Transport Engineer with 3-4 years’ experience working as a Transport Engineer or Planner in an Engineering Consultancy.
- The successful Transport Engineer will be responsible for development and preparation of Transport Strategies/LTPs for large towns and Local Areas
- Leading multidisciplinary design teams and partners in developing transport networks for new
- towns, residential & commercial developments in accordance with DMURS
- The design & appraisal of Active Travel schemes (walking & cycling) in urban and rural environments including greenways (preliminary and detailed)
- The design of a number of significant bus priority schemes
- Ability to interrogate baseline information and prepare innovative / cost effective design solutions for public and private clients using the latest design suites / software’s.
- As Transport Engineer you will be providing transport related advice and services to support high profile clients in the development of large residential, commercial and educational developments including the development of major new towns and Strategic Development Zones
- A full drivers licence is desirable
