Setting-Out Engineer
A Setting-out Engineer required for a Main Building Contractor to work on our Clients project based in Sligo to work on a Residential Project.
Duties:
- Perform precise setting out of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Establish reference points, grades, and benchmarks to ensure accurate measurement and alignment.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify and implement setting out requirements.
- Utilize surveying instruments like total stations, GPS, and laser levels for accurate measurements and layouts, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain strong health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- 2 years + experience of setting-out on building projects in Ireland or UK.
- 3rd level degree in Construction/Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency with the use of Total Station, EDM instruments & GPS to complete accurate set out.
