Mechanical Construction Manager required for a busy M&E Contractor to oversee a large Data Center project in Vienna, Austria. This is the ideal role for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager coming from another M&E Contractor who ideally has worked on some or all of the following; – Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, healthcare and Industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, construction, installation and commissioning of mechanical systems in the data centre
- The Mechanical Construction Manager will liaise with contractors, clients and consultants to coordinate project activities
- Ensure quality and safety standards are achieved throughout the construction process
- Manage project timelines and budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Manage and coordinate the installation of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping and plumbing, fire suppression and environmental controls
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations and industry standards
- Provide clear and regular communication with senior managers regarding progress on projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping and plumbing systems, fire suppression systems, and environmental controls
- Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from design through to commissioning
- Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
- The Mechanical Construction Manager will ideally have delivered Data Center Projects.

- Salary circa €100,000 – 110,000 – DOE
