HV Commissioning Engineer
HV Commissioning Engineer required to join a highly sought after HV Electrical contractor on HV Commissioning projects in Dublin. Our client deliver services in Renewable Energy projects and offer Engineering Design & Consultancy Services across Ireland and the UK. Services include HV/MV Installation, Commissioning, Operation, and Maintenance.

Responsibilities/Duties:
- Develop and manage a commissioning team to execute projects in target areas.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Director to expand business lines within key markets.
- Perform SAP (Senior Authorised Person) duties, including HV switching and isolations on live networks.
- Identify and coordinate training needs for team members, potentially including in-house training delivery.
- Lead on-site commissioning efforts until team members achieve AP (Authorised Person) competency.
- Partner with the Health and Safety Officer to keep HV Safety Rules updated per industry standards.
- Manage project milestones, deadlines, and overall programme.
- Plan and coordinate vendor FAT/SAT, with possible on-site attendance as needed.
- Participate in and contribute to daily/weekly project meetings with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Oversee the delivery, review, and approval of key project documents, including Test Protocols and Compliance statements.
Qualifications / Skills:
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- High Voltage commissioning experience is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
- A valid, clean driving licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with strong people skills.
