A rapidly growing civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale residential development project in Co. Meath. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale residential project from inception to completion, ensuring it meets all deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the project team, including site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination across all phases of the project.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
- Cost & Budget Control: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and controlling project expenses without compromising quality.
- Scheduling & Resource Planning: Create and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of milestones.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and proactively address any issues that arise, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry.
- Educational Background: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management Expertise: Solid experience managing large-scale projects, from planning through to delivery, with a strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
