Role Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a high-performing construction team based in Laois. This exciting role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage some of the most ambitious residential projects in Laois, working with industry experts to deliver exceptional results. As Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of the projects, from inception to completion, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
- Oversee site operations and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless construction activities.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any technical challenges and proactively identify solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and mentoring to junior engineers and site personnel.
- Prepare and review site reports, progress updates, and cost estimates.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in a cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in residential construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage and lead teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to site management.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
- A strong track record of successfully managing projects to completion, on time and within budget.
