A leading civil engineering contractor, renowned for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across Ireland, is looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a major new infrastructure project in West Dublin. Role Overview:
The Site Engineer will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a major infrastructure project, providing technical support and ensuring that the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a solid understanding of construction processes and site management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to the site management team, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist with site surveys, setting out, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Monitor and report on progress, quality, and productivity on site.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Carry out site inspections and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Engineer in the civil engineering or construction sector.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel to site.
