An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a high-profile apartment block project in South Dublin.This role is perfect for an experienced engineer seeking long-term work in Dublin. The project involves a large-scale RC frame construction, making this a perfect fit for engineers with reinforced concrete experience who are looking to take their expertise to the next level on a major urban development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical aspects of the apartment block project, ensuring construction aligns with design and quality standards.
- Supervise the RC frame construction process, working closely with the site team to maintain best practices.
- Monitor progress and ensure strict adherence to project timelines, budgets, and health & safety protocols.
- Conduct site surveys, prepare engineering reports, and support project documentation.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients, ensuring smooth communication and problem resolution on site.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with RC frame project experience highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of setting out, surveying equipment, and engineering software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
