About the Opportunity:
A leading civil engineering contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-profile residential projects across Ireland is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join their team in Laois.

Key Responsibilities:
- Setting Out: Manage the precise setting out and leveling for construction activities, ensuring accuracy and efficient progression through the project stages.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards, ensuring all work complies with specifications and regulatory requirements, and proactively addressing any deviations.
- Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety on-site by strictly enforcing health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for all team members.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors to optimize site operations, coordinate schedules, and streamline resources.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively, providing recommendations to prevent delays and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact, liaising with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to maintain smooth and transparent project workflows.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily site reports, manage site records, and maintain documentation to reflect project progress and assist in auditing and quality assessments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments (such as total stations) and site engineering software.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
