Tendering Manager
Tendering Manager required to join one of Europe’s leading contractors for HV and MV Renewable Energy projects in Kildare. The Tendering Manager will ensure that the Tender Folders are maintained and that all relevant team members are informed, in keeping with the project programme.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire tendering process from start to finish.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, ensuring that all tender invitations are recorded and tracked.
- Maintain organized tender folders and keep relevant team members updated.
- Prepare accurate and well-structured tender submissions within the required deadlines.
- Ensure timely submission and processing of all aspects of tenders, including technical, financial, and contractual elements; follow up on submissions and document feedback.
- Raise tender queries and produce tender reports.
- Lead tender risk assessments.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage the cost database to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Develop and sustain relationships with key vendors, including subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments.
- Implement and uphold quality procedures to ensure high standards in the Tendering Department.
- Lead and mentor the Tendering Team.
- Provide regular updates on the status of tenders, estimates, and quotations, including analysis of tender results.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Commercial role.
- 10+ years’ experience in a senior role in a MV / HV organisation.
- Experience in either the Irish or UK market.
- A minimum of a Level 8 Degree in a relevant qualification, such as Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Excellent project management and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive approach with problem solving skills and adaptability.
- Strong Microsoft Office package skills and knowledge.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of contractual terms, conditions, and risk management.
