Quantity Surveyor 

Quantity Surveyor to join a Global Engineering Contractor at their offices in Dublin. The Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial responsibility for projects, working closely with the Project Managers, Contracts Managers and Construction teams to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of a range of projects including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical Plants, Semi-conductor and Renewables.

Responsibilities: 

• Full commercial and contractual project lifecycle management of each project.
• Responsible for liaising with the clients commercial and contract teams.
• Project procurement including sub-contractors.
• Conduct regular cost and risk analysis and reports.
• Provide support to junior commercial staff.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin and cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
• Provide monthly valuations and certs.
• Agree final accounts.

Requirements 

• Degree in Quantity surveying, Construction Economics or Building Services.
• 5+ years’ working as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Mechanical, Electrical or a combination of M&E experience is essential.
• Experience working as a QS on large scale projects is beneficial.
• A proven track record in customer relationship development.
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor must be in Ireland or the UK at present and eligible to work without the need for a permit.
