Role:
- The successful Resident Engineer will be responsible for organising and ensuring adequate supervision of construction works on the site.
- Maintain a comprehensive diary constituting a detailed work history of construction work and significant happenings on the site.
- As Resident Engineer you will ensure that all day work records and all variations from specification are approved and documented prior to execution.
- Be aware at all times of the duties of contractors, sub-contractors and others under Safety, Health and Welfare at Work legislation
Requirements:
- Level 8 / 9 Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- You must be a chartered member of Engineers Ireland
- The successful Resident Engineer must have 5+ years’ experience working within a consultancy in design and project management.
- An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and an ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.
- The successful Structural Engineer should have a range of project experience and be familiar working in compliance with ISO 9001.
- Possess good technical and communication skills.
