A leading commercial architectural studio in Dublin city centre, who work across a diverse range of project typologies in Ireland and Europe, have a new opportunity for creative Design Architect / Senior Design Architect to join the growing team.
The Design Architect will be experienced, talented, and highly motivated holding membership to the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), with advanced proficiency in Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite. The ideal Architect will have a passion for design, demonstrated technical expertise, and a strong portfolio of diverse architectural projects.
As a key member of the design team, you will play an essential role in conceptual design, detailed design development, and construction of various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative, innovative design solutions in line with client requirements and company objectives
- Produce detailed design drawings and documentation, ensuring adherence to current regulations, codes, and standards
- Use the Adobe Creative suite to create compelling visual presentations for clients and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants throughout all project phases
- Ensure designs comply with planning, building regulations, and sustainability requirements
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews, translating client needs into innovative solutions
- Attend site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of works and ensure design intent is maintained.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Key Requirements
- Registered Architect holding RIAI / RIBA membership
- Strong proficiency in Revit is essential, including 3D modelling, detailing, and documentation, along with advanced skills in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for presentation and graphic work
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience working on high-quality design and diverse projects within an architectural studio
- Thorough understanding of Irish building regulations, planning processes, and construction methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with various teams
- Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland
