Junior Engineer

Junior Engineer at graduate level or 1 years’ experience required for a mid-sized main building contractor work a nursing home project in South Wicklow. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a construction related discipline and have a desire to go into more of the management quality side of the industry rather than more of a setting-out role. If you are looking for quick progression, support and a stable company with a strong pipeline this is the role for you.

 Duties:

• Maintaining accurate record keeping
• Overseeing concrete pours including pre & post documentation
• Managing rebar deliveries and checkoffs
• Performing QAQC checks
• Participating in meeting and coordinating onsite subcontractors
• Maintaining continuous professional development to ensure appropriate technical awareness

Requirements:

• A third level construction qualification
• Good time management skills & ability to meet deadlines 
• To be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised.
• Excellent IT Skills with good working knowledge of AutoCAD (or similar) and MS Office (Project, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Package:

• €40k-€45k (DOE)
