BIM Coordinator
Senior BIM Coordinator required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work from our clients Dublin Head Office. This is an excellent role for the BIM Coordinator who has about 7 years’ experience ideally working for a building contractor with experience of all aspects of the build.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the entire BIM process on the project, ensuring all team members follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Conduct BIM coordination workshops, document progress, and organize clash detection meetings using Navisworks Manage.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures to verify model accuracy and appropriate levels of detail for each project stage.
- Monitor shared data, technical requirements, and software interoperability between project team members, ensuring adherence to BIM standards.
- Ensure accurate information uploads to the Common Data Environment, coordinate data handovers, and occasionally generate models to support design development.
Requirements:
- Must be degree qualified in BIM, Engineering or Architecture.
- 3+ years’ experience working with Main Building Contractors in Ireland or the UK
- Proven track record of managing Commercial / Data Centres / Industrial Projects.
- Working in a multi-project contracts manager role currently.
