A rapidly growing civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Civils Foreman to manage a residential project in North Dublin. The successful candidate will oversee site operations, ensuring the project are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role offers long-term work in the area and an excellent benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities and manage site personnel, including direct labour and subcontractors.
- Ensure the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate materials, plant, and equipment for efficient site operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project progression.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Foreman in civil engineering projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively on-site.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction or civil engineering are an advantage.
