Lisa Cullen
Site Engineer required to join a leading Contractor in Cork working on a large rail project.
Role:
- Setting out
- Site surveying
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Assisting the procurement department
- Assisting the commercial department.
- Completing SHEQ forms
- Installation of precast concrete cable troughs along each side of the existing rail tracks
- Construction of insitu concrete foundations for the installation of electronic signalling kiosks (SMIOEHs)
- Construction of insitu concrete foundations for the installation of substations / power kiosks / generators (PSPs)
- Installation of duct crossings underneath the existing trail tracks
- Construction of signal bases both insitu concrete and precast units
- Piling works
- Construction of retaining walls
- Earthworks
- Cabling works
Requirements:
- Must hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- 1 – 3 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK (mandatory)
- Must have knowledge setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level, total station
- Must be available for both day, night and weekend shifts as needed
- Excellent MS Office skills

- Salary circa €50k – €60k DOE
