Electrical Engineer needed to join an multi award winning mechanical and electrical consultancy in their South Dublin Office. The successful Electrical Engineer will be part of the Data Centre team and will have the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects. This company is renowned for supporting their staff and progressing their career.
Duties:
- Takes responsibility for definable parts of project – may include full responsibility on smaller projects
- Takes responsibility for elements of work which may include supervision of other staff
- Carries out Audits of other projects under the QA system
- Manages upkeep of project design file
- Deliver on time in an organised way
- Balances demands, copes well with interruptions and switches well between tasks
- Some client & liaison and Design Team exposure
- Deal with onsite issues – Contractors and Vendors
Requirements:
- Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- The successful Electrical Engineer should have minimum 3+ years post graduate design experience within an engineering consultancy.
- Working towards a professional chartership an advantage.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
- Position requires thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.
- Knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.
- Experience in working as part of a team
- Very good proactive communicator
Salary & Benefits:
- €45,000 – €55,000 – Depending on Experience
- Condensed work week – every second Friday off
