A qualified Town Planner with experience in the Irish market is required to join a busy multidisciplinary consultancy in West Dublin. With a strong reputation and diverse projects portfolio, the Town Planner will join the planning team and assist in all aspects of the planning process including planning process, planning applications, planning appeals, feasibility studies and surveying on behalf of their clients.
The ideal Town Planner will have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience, hold Chartered status and possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of the current Irish Planning system.

Ideal requirements:
- A Degree level qualification in Town Planning or similar
- Preferably holding professional membership to IPI or RTPI
- MUST have previous experience in the Irish planning industry
- Possess a strong working knowledge of the Irish Planning system
- Excellent report writing, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Good level of IT proficiency
- Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail
- Ability to project manage multidisciplinary teams and projects
- Must hold eligibility to work in Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with clients, An Bord Plean√°la, internal team and external consultants
- Manage projects from inception to completion including interaction with project stakeholders, clients and project team
- Prepare and conduct research, studies, site visits, planning assessments, reports and tender submissions
- Ability to interpret construction and design plans
- Ability to analyse planning policy and make recommendations
- Liaise with county councils and other relevant bodies
