Setting-out Engineer (Civils)
Setting-out Engineer with 2+ years’ experience required for a Tier 1 Main Contractor to work on a large civil infrastructure project in Wexford which has a large mix of civils and building elements. Our client has grown significantly over the past few years and has a good pipeline of work outside of Dublin but this specific project will have another 2 years left in it. We are ideally looking for a Setting-out Engineer from a civils background but we will consider candidate with experience in the built environment also.
Responsibilities:
- Setting out
- Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
- Management of subcontractors/groundworkers
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering Degree or similar
- 2+ years’ experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full driving license
