Senior Engineer with 6+ years’ experience required to work on a large port project in the Wexford. The successful Senior Engineer will be experienced in groundworks and site development works ideally, we will also consider candidates with strong building experience because this project will include substantial civils and building packages. Our client has significantly expanded their operations outside the Dublin area over the past 5 years and has a significant pipeline of work in various sectors. This is an excellent long term opportunity (circa 3 year project) for the experienced Senior Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Project Manager and the wider team to provide technical advice on the project
- Guidance to Setting Out Teams in execution of our rapidly expanding workload
- Daily liaison with the project team, design team and subcontractors
- Perform technical verifications of civil engineering designs, models and drawings.
- Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI’s and resolves technical issues
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
- Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
- Record keeping and reporting
Requirements:
- Relevant Third level Degree
- 6+ years’ relevant experience on large scale projects.
- Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station and levelling equipment is essential
- Excellent IT skills – knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
