My client, a leading developer in Ireland, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for an exciting mixed-use development project in South Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed package and material budgets
- Generate comprehensive tender packs
- Grant subcontracts
- Execute value engineering and options analysis
- Oversee key package cashflow and interim invoices
- Supervise retention for each package
- Conduct re-measurements upon package completion and finalize accounts
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material procurement schedules
- Establish a procurement schedule for the project
- Conduct regular reviews of works to pinpoint opportunities for cost-saving measure
Requirements:
- 5-7 years’ experience working as a quantity surveyor with a main contractor or developer
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
- Comfortable working from both site-based office and head office
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment while also able to work independently
